Amtrak #5 speeds westwards through the desolate Utah desert at 'Floy' on the former D&RGW

Amtrak #5 tears past the west end of 'Utahline' crossing into Utah from Colorado at the mouth of Ruby Canyon.

Amtrak P42DC's #138 & #82 brings Amtrak #6 'The California Zephyr' east through the Utah desert at 'Floy'.

The California Zephyr has just completed its Green River stop and is now heading east toward Grand Junction (and eventually Chicago).

Thanks to an 10 1/2 hour Amtrak number 6. I was able to catch the 161 heritage unit for the first time.
