It’s a cold rainy January night in Marion, and AC tower is looking mighty nice and warm inside. It’s been 13 years since Conrail vacated AC tower in favor of a dispatching desk in Indianapolis. Today the lights are still on thanks to the efforts of the Marion Union Station association.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
