While waiting for the BR&W local I came across this Lackwanna, Iron & Steel manufactured rail in 1895. The rail was originally laid by the CNJ from the main into Flemington. Some 111 years later trains still roll over this portion of the line, twice a week (two roundtrips). This is the oldest rail I have discovered to date and appears to be the second oldest on RP.
