A "Zebra-Striped" New York Central "Beeliner" here in Conrail/MTA service, pulls past HM Tower, ending its run from Poughkeepsie. HM Tower controlled the yard movements around the Harmon Shop Complex. NYC had a fleet of 19 Beeliners, which included the first RDC ever built (April 19, 1950). They ran mostly unaltered through the Penn Central and Conrail periods, only to finally be retired by Metro North.
