Fall colors are at peak along the former Algoma Central. I'm glad I rode this train at the height of its evolution, back when the cars were maintained, the food was delectable, there were domes and dutch doors to view the scenery from, and ... most importantly ... ABBA F-Units up front. Today's trainload of Japanese tourists are enjoying the autumn for its own beauty, and are blissfully unaware that the train was once as beautiful and radiant as the trees themselves.
