Timeless, the F-unit. Back when VIA Rail finally started to retire them, roads such as KCS, Algoma Central and Ohio Central acquired some of these classy ladies for their operations. These two prime specimens originally started life as CN 6515 & 6526, and after VIA did time on Ohio Central before being bought by Canadian Pacific. CP renumbered them 4106 & 4107 following their traditional hood unit number series, and pressed them into service on company specials such as the one here south of Tottenham.
An attempt to put the best picture of engines that represent each of America's railroads. When a better picture of an engine/type is found, it will be added.
A collection of engines, cabooses, cars, etc., great and small that are past their prime, but represent a spirit of railroading that will never pass away!!
