A flock of sheeps is escaping along the Hautapu River when steamlocomotive Ja 1275 of Mainline Steam with a long train rounds Turangarere Loop on the ascent from Taihape to Waiouru. The oilfired 4-8-2 is on the way home from the Main Trunk Line Centenary in Feilding to her base depot Parnell in Auckland.
