Back in it's infancy, the PR Basin just saw the entrance of CNW, and the Bill yard was in service but still under construction. Work trains were mainly held by Geeps, so when this 6 axle showed up, it was noteworthy. Note to novice photographers: when in the great state of Wyoming, it is highly advisable to use proper lens cleaning techniques involving air bursts, brushes and THEN wiping with proper cleaning cloth, NOT wipe it with your shirt. This is advisable to mitigate the presence of gut wrenching scratches on the lens caused by wiping the lens off with your shirt after a dust gust. What a dolt!! Cost me $80 for a new lens back then; it's funny now, wasn't then :-)
