BNSF SWBLW 1460, Santa Fe's one-of-a-kind Baldwin VO-1000 rebuild 'BEEP', was retired after almost forty years of service on the Santa Fe and BNSF and donated to the Western America Railroad Museum in Barstow, CA. ATSF 2450 was its original number when released from remanufacturing at Santa Fe's Cleburne Texas shops in December 1970. During the early 1970s it was leased to the Port Terminal Railroad Association (PTRA) in Houston, TX. The 'BEEP' was renumbered ATSF 1160 in August 1974, then to ATSF 1460 in January 1977; and it kept that same number into the BNSF era until retirement. In this photo of ATSF 2450, it is still bearing its original round Baldwin builder's plate which is visible on the side frame just ahead of the designated front 'F'.
