When one thinks of Poland, one often thinks of grey skies as typified in this photo. If that is the light you have, you have to make the best of it. A trip in 2002 started out on the grey and rainy side as spring in Northern Europe often is, the trip later yielded several classic spring images, and great memories of a road trip with a few fellow fans of late nights, kielbasa and lots of good beer. Poland is a great country to travel in, with great people and food. For some reason this photo, out of hundreds and in much better weather, somehow stuck in my mind as memorable, I am not sure why. Ironically, to this day, this image could still be made (with daily steam), and it looks like this right now. Hopefully somebody will be out there with a camera.
