History lives. Where the NYC's famous streamlined Hudsons once tread, SP 4449 rolls past BO Tower, one of the last few active interlocking towers in the state of Michigan. The engine is enroute to Minneapolis, MN after a successful showing at Owosso's Train Festival 2009. In today's era, this is about as rare as rare can get.
This powerful and beautiful 4-8-4 Northern type steam locomotive hauled the Coast Daylight and other SP varnish. It came back from retirement to haul numerous specials and excursions, including the American Freedom Train.
