The North Jersey Chapter NRHS sponsored a steam special to Bay Head Junction with the last operating Camelback, #774, on Sunday, July 11, 1954. John took photos of the trip and they have all been uploaded to his site GodfatherRails.com. In this scene, the engine is backed into the terminal to it's train, the Trainmaster/RR Officer riding the pilot and overseeing the move as fans of the era mill about and take photos. Interestingly, the man with the camera standing above the crowd on the signal base at the left is shooting 16mm b&w film, which is later seen in Green Frog's "Classic Steam 1920s-1940's" video. A Youtube clip showing this very scene plus the hustling little Camelback pulling this train out on the main can be viewed here>
