The "Pocono Volcano" has been unleashed! That's what I call Steamtown's Canadian National No. 3254. The locomotive has started it's train with 390 happy passengers right on "The Hill", the 1.5% grade that begins in the Scranton yard. The grade does not relent the entire trip to Moscow. With the thundering departure from Scranton, Aaron Stout, engineer, has the whistle screaming and Jack Emerick III, fireman, has the gauge pegged at 170 PSI because of his skill with the fire and the stoker is cranked. Steam railroading at it's finest! Please see my article that went with this. Historic Trains Today
