Four elephant-style Es lead the combined Afternoon Zephyr, North Coast Limited, and Empire Builder. In the summer under the CB&Q it was three trains but it (they) didn't have another summer. Today only the Builder survives but not through Eola. Note, the front unit is ex-CB&Q E9A 9989A and they all still sported Q colors. |
