The crew of Tooele Valley Railway's Warner Turn discusses their upcoming workday just outside the engine shop at Anaconda's International Smelter east of Tooele, Utah. Nothing in the foreground exists today in part due to a big superfund site cleanup. In the 1980s, the buildings were demolished and the tracks were dismantled. The contaminated soil was then removed, the land was reclaimed, reseeded and returned to the deer and other wildlife along the Oquirrh Mountain foothills near Pine Canyon.
