Stereotypical New Jersey – A westbound NJT diesel train crosses the Lower Hack Lift Bridge, which spans the Hackensack River, as an Arrow III train moves east. To the right are the 500 ft smoke stacks of the PSEG Hudson Generating Station which recently underwent a billion dollar renovation to remain open. It’s appalling how some of these industrial areas are kept. In the foreground it looks as if a bomb went off. Fortunately, most of NJ doesn’t look this way.
