Good morning, America, how are you When exploring the Illinois Central in 1989-90, I couldn’t get the classic song by Steve Goodman, “City of New Orleans” from out of my mind. During one of the trips I found this junk yard at Otto, Illinois, that I vowed to shoot with a certain train. So, on June 12, 1990, here’s my Amtrak version of the City of New Orleans as it “Rolls along past houses, farms and fields, passin' trains that have no names, . . . and the graveyards of rusted automobiles.”
