The other heritage fleet... The D-L has amassed quite a heritage fleet of its own. I suspect there is nowhere else in the world where you can see four ALCO RS3s hauling revenue freight on a well-maintained main line. Here 4068, 1554 (CNJ), 4118 and 4103 head east for the NS interchange at Slateford Junction. After a cloudy and sometimes rainy chase from Scranton, the sun finally made an appearance in East Stroudsburg. A tip of the hat to the fine folks at the D-L who keep these wonderful machines running!
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
An exclamation attributed to TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson, it is this eponymous expression of which certain images convey man and machine versus nature . . .
