Remarks & Notes |
AMTRAK HERITAGE. The Adirondack pulls down thru the approach to the Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak station with the Phase III dome behind the power. Amtrak 40th Anniversary Display Car 10094 sits in the foreground in Phase III. The Display Car is staged with engine 703 for power on the Maple Leaf to New York Penn Station. Finally, the Phase I pointless arrow STILL stands guard over the Amtrak Shop complex in Rensselaer in the background. These shops were built in the mid 1970's to maintain the Rohr Turbo trains assigned to Empire Service and now maintain the dual mode P32's and other regular equipment. |
