On the weekend of the Bendigo line's 150th birthday, an N class hauls the morning Melbourne to Swan Hill passenger service across the spectacular Blue Stone viaduct at Malmsbury. A group of people have gathered to watch a steam special which was following this train. The Bendigo line was built at the height of the gold rush and no expense was spared. This is the only large all-stone viaduct in Victoria, with other bridges built at the time having steel decks.
