ACWR 6918 is suffering from high voltage circuit shorted to the frame. The generator is disconnected to troubleshoot. During inspection, ACWR Electrician, Rob Dickson, discovered shrapnel from the auxiliary generator had gone through the cooling fan and duct which then lodged in the rectifier section of the AR10 alternator (main generator). The generator was repaired once the foreign material was removed. The auxiliary generator will need to be replaced. The red area is the rectifier diodes. The round shaft in the middle is the rotating shaft of the generator connected to the crankshaft. Happy New Year!
