On the Tennessee Pass route, three D&RGW GP40-2's have Tempo ski train cars in tow along the Arkansas River through Brown Canyon near Salida, Colo. The cars were lettered "Pacific Rim RR" and were en route for their next assignment in the filming of Paramount Pictures "Flashback," to be done on LaVeta Pass. Rafters were enjoying the April 20 spring day in 1989 as the train passed on the Southern Pacific.
