Remarks & Notes |
Amtrak's eastbound Southwest Chief zips by a clear signal on the mainline at the east end of Chapelle siding under a crystal clear New Mexico sky. After this train's passage these classic signals will sit dormant for nearly 24 hours before the next day's westbound Southwest Chief will once again call on them to guide it across this portion of the former Santa Fe system. |
