Remarks & Notes 
A former Conrail SD70 leads an empty Bow coal train across the Hoosic River. NS 2579 was assembled at Conrail's Juniata Locomotive Shop from kits supplied by EMD as CR 2579, among the last engines ordered by Conrail and built with the intention of going to NS.
