Crews have been working around the clock to clean up a wreck involving two trains on the CSX Tranportation Mohawk Subdvision that occured just before 08:00 hrs on June 27th. The actual cause is still under investigation. However, at this point, this much is clear, the west bound Q641 was proceeding through CP 188 with a limited clear signal crossing over from track 1 to track 2. The east bound Q364 had been calling clear signals up to automatic 193. They were not heard at auto 190. Shortly after the Q641 began to crossover, at which point the Q364 ran into the side of the train causing the derailment. CSXT engines 4759, 7732, 5394, and 5418 were on the Q364 all went on the ground. Numerous other railcars were strewn about the scene as well. The power on the Q641 was not directly involved in the incident and remained on the tracks. Fortunately, for everyone's sake, only minor injuries were reported for two of the crew members.
