Rollin' through the fields of Lancaster County. Still sporting the silver smokebox paint from a February photo charter, Great Western #90 hauls the 5PM excursion through the sprawling fields of the Cherry Crest Farm, just west of Cherry Hill Station. Most of the 90's special GW markings are gone now. While much of the "make-up" consisted of magnets and gaffer's tape, some of the markings, such as the tender lettering, were indeed painted on. All of that has disappeared and she just says "Strasburg" now. When you think about it, that's really how it should be. After all, the 90 has now run more miles on "The Road to Paradise" than she ever did back "home" in Colorado.
