On the afternoon of September 20th, I ran by BNSF's Topeka, KS shops, and found their Hydrogen powered switcher #1205 sitting outside with its hood removed, giving us a rare view of it's innards. Since returning from it's stint at the AAR test track in Pueblo, I've not seen anything of this unit, having been buried somewhere within the shop complex.
Anyone have any idea what's going on here? She sure looks different than an EMD.
Say what you will about these units, but new, noteworthy, and rare will always get me excited.
