The trains don't stop here anymore. One of the Valley Railroad's sold-out Santa Specials high-balls past the tiny Chester Station en route to the North Pole, with veteran Engineer Bruce Edgerton at the throttle. The little station building, which is not original to the site, is largely an ornament on this old New Haven branch line. It is primarily used for storage by the line's MOW Department, and is typically decorated with Christmas lights during the holiday season.
