With the former SSW freight station towering above, unpatched SP 107 and a CSX SD60M lead detoured UP manifest MHOKC 22 down the TRRA's Merchants Subdivision after it was forced to bypass the preferred route over the Mississippi River via the MacArthur Bridge due to bridge work. The freight depot was built in 1911 and, despite its rough appearance, still features copper Cotton Belt emblems on each of its corners. Plans call for the structure to become a large canvas, with local artists painting full wall-sized murals on different sides of the building.
