Respondek Rail's Illinois Terminal painted GP9 #4139 sits, patiently awaiting its next assignment near Union Spring Steel in Chillicothe, Ohio. The EMD was in transit to the Ohio South Central Railroad based out of Hamden, Ohio where it resides today. The locomotive was transported to Columbus Ohio by Norfolk Southern and then transferred to CSX at Chillicothe, who made the final delivery at Vauces siding in Richmondale, Ohio.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
