After being delayed several hours due to an engine failure, the dispatcher asked the CP 8856 North if they would like to just tie down at Dutton, a few miles south of where we were set up. Much to our surprise, the crew said that they would try to make it up the hill to a grain loop just north of our location, despite the risk of stalling on the grade. So it was that fate allowed us to see the Prince Rupert, BC-bound coal train crossing the impressive trestle over the Teton River just south of Collins, Montana in perfect evening light.
