As blue hour falls on a snowy landscape, UP 7325 and a KCS belle move east with a loaded coal train at Allenton, MO. The first snowstorm of the season had just moved through leaving a generous coating of snow on everything in sight. On this cold night, the only source of considerable heat was being emitted from the exhaust stacks of the hard-working locomotives.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
