An Amtrak HHP-8 glides through the S-curve at Elizabeth, NJ in the midst of Winter snow storm. Now long gone, the HHP's were the engine of choice during the Winter storms of 2014 in that their design, along with the Acela and compared to the AEM-7's, made them both more reliable under such conditions. This has been rectified (no pun intended) with the introduction of the Cities Sprinters.
