The headlights of the BNSF 6967 west get turned to full blast by the new crew that just boarded this S LPCSCO2 at Valentine, after the previous crewed worked their twelve hours. This was the six day of snow on the ground that was left by a big New Year Eve winter storm that hammered the Northern Arizona highland. This day was the day where most of the snow finally melted away as the highs reached the mid 50s.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
