With winter storm Remus putting most of the southeast under its grasp, the trains keep rolling. The irony of it, as an employee of CSX down in Atlanta for training, our class was canceled today due to the weather, which made this shot possible. As the daylight faded, car traffic in Marietta dwindled to nothing, and left Mill St. empty. As a result, CSX Q582 didn't really hold up anything as it hustled north to Nashville, TN. Special thanks to Kyle Yunker for making this shot possible.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
