Life at the hump yard continued as one of the hump job push a line of car from receiving track number 1 to the hump , but their was a minor wrench thrown in today's plan as receiving track number 9, 8, and 7 was temporarily taken out of service due to a derailment on receiving track number 8 with five cars on the ground it surely drew some attention to the people in charge of the yard operation. With RJ Corman crew, and heavy equipment, along with NS Maintenance Department, and their equipment on standby, work on getting the derailed cars back on rails, and down to the car shop, and getting the small section of damage rail replace, and getting receiving track number 8 back in operation, this sequence took about 12 to 16 hours.
