NS 2553 leads train 205 across the Portage Bridge in Letchworth State Park. The 2nd unit is the Pennsy heritage unit. Lots of people were hanging out around, and on, the bridge this day. The tree's have been cut and the view on the South side of the bridge is now open, but only until June 1, when this part of the park will be closed to the public. NS will then begin construction of the new replacement bridge. After the new bridge is complete, then, according to one of the Parks Employees, this bridge will be torn down.
