UP 8069 and company rest in the Departure Yard of West Colton as a pair of SD40-2's hurry back into the yard. The crew van has just arrived, the Carmen have inspected the train, and the blue flag is about to come down. At the same time power is coming out from the 'roundhouse' to the left, but must wait for a signal and an alignment. In the background BNSF power assigned to the M-WCLBAR is visible, and if you look closely UPY 2005 can be seen next to the shops.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
