Having just been dropped unloaded from the Pullman "Dover Harbor" on the rear, a couple walks towards the Gainesville depot, built in 1910, as the Crescent awaits to depart for points north. This timeless scene is completed with the sporty drumhead on the rear, no doubt a common sight for this train during the golden age of railroading.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
