HLCX SD40R NÂș6341 was built in March 1966 as SP SD40 8436, it later went on to be rebuilt by the carrier in what become some of the last home rebuilt units. Looking damn near as good as when it was painted into the Rio Grande inspired Speed Lettering scheme, the unit entered Helm's lease fleet and it's lettering was patched out. Somewhere along the lines an "Espee" fan, most likely with ties and access to Helm carefully and faithfully stenciled the graphics back onto the 6341. The unit is seen leading CSX train L542 up the A&WP Subdivision through Atlanta, Georgia (West End) on it's Waycross, Ga. to Cincinnati, Oh. trip
