Former French Railways SNCF "Mountain" (4-8-2) steamlocomotive 241 A 65, the largest coal fired in western Europe, with a train from Zürich via Bülach-Eglisau-Koblenz to Full (AG), and later to Basel, passing Zürich Oerlikon. The four cylinder compound express train locomotive was built in 1931 by the Company Fives-Lille for the ETAT (Chemins de fer de l’État). Despite the impressive large driving wheels (diameter 1950 mm or 76.77 inches) she was built for "only" 110 km/h (68.35 miles per hour), today in Switzerland she is allowed to go 100 km/h. She is operational again in Switzerland since 1996 for the association 241 A 65 and based in Full (AG). The nice brick building in the background is the former MFO (Maschine works Oerlikon, which delivered large parts of electric equipment for swiss locomotives) administration building, which was moved over about 80 meter to this actual place due to the enlargement of Oerlikon station.
