Here we have a personal favorite of mine, which was captured earlier this year. On the evening of a lunar eclipse, a pair of semaphore signals stand tall as a full moon rises in the distance. Located in Chapelle, NM seen are only 2 of many that remain operational along the Glorieta/Raton Subdivision.
Pictures taken with the strong contrast between Rail and Light in Dawn/Dusk/Sunrise or Sunset.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
