Norfolk Southern train I2K was the first to operate along the former Delaware & Hudson mainline after the purchase from Canadian Pacific was completed on September 19, 2015. The crew was on duty at 12:01am in Binghamton, and was on standby, ready to depart, after receiving the confirmation that all dispatching features were safely functional from the Harrisburg dispatching center.
