The GECO Branch ain't dead. Those who have lived in Toronto for years will probably remember CN having a branch line through the center of Scarborough, and frequently a couple of switchers went by with a string of autoracks switching the GM Van Plant. Most of what was on the GECO is gone, and the line has largely been forgotten. However, there are still customers left, making this is a very much active line. Here, CN 7058 and 4730 with train 546 back into Griffith Labs to pick up a hopper. The track that splits off to the right contains the rest of its train, bound for Ipex and Home Lumber (also on the GECO). A note to railfans who foam within Toronto city limits, there is more than just GO and Via trains, you just gotta do your research and look around.
