Recently returning to service, and still in the older TTI paint, 5827 is bringing up the rear of a coal train rolling into downtown Maysville, KY after leaving Paris a few hours earlier. After helping push the train along the line the old GE has it easy for now heading downgrade, but will soon be put back to work, as she'll lead the consist once they've cleared the old L&N trackage and made their way onto the former C&O line to access the barge loading facility just outside of Maysville.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
