In a rare, public passenger move over the former Boston and Maine Railroad's West End, Amtrak's Autumn Express heads east across the Hoosic River at Fisherman's Lane in Schaghticoke, NY. Originating at Albany-Rensselaer Station, the train ran to Schenectady, NY, then over Canadian Pacific to Mechanicville, NY before getting onto Pan Am Southern trackage. The train is heading to East Deerfield, MA where it will be turned before returning west.
