On a chilly spring night, the historic Southern Pacific searchlight signals stand tall around the Davis Wye. Unfortunately, do today's traffic movements, this leg of the wye does not see many trains. It was once the key connection shuttling the Coast Starlight from the West Valley Subdivision to the Martinez Subdivision.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
