This may look like an old spur in the dirt, but it's actually the former main line of the Southern Pacific Inter-Cal line, where Cab Forwards and Daylights once pulled passenger trains heading to and from Los Angeles. Now, with most of that line abandoned, this remnant receives cars from the Mexicali afternoon local moments before the sun drops.
