Meet in Black Canyon:
As we stood under the nearly-full moon on the bluff overhead the CP (background) and CN (foreground) mainlines through British Columbia, radio transmissions made it readily apparent we were about the get a rolling meet while our shutters were open. As the CP westbound, a loaded coal train, came out of the cut on their side, they killed their headlights. Why? They would have been shining them directly into the cab of the CN eastbound.
