The PRR 7002 comes back to life at Strasburg, breaking through a red ribbon-bedecked paper barrier. Built in August, 1902 as the PRR 8063, the engine was renumbered to stand in for legendary speedster 7002 at the 1939 New York World's Fair. The Strasburg Rail Road is in the news, announcing a $1.75 Million shop expansion on June 1, 2016. Note on the left the famous open-air car #68, ex-Boston & Maine coach #856; first in service at Strasburg in 1968, built for the movie “Hello Dolly”; rebuilt 1995. Today, the car wears the standard Strasburg colors, and the unique folding side-steps are gone.
